CHEPA is excited to announce that Mary Hood, author of The Relaxed Homeschool, will be coming to Canton on October 24th and 25th!
Whether you follow a traditional schooling path, lean more towards unschooling, or are somewhere in between, the ideas Mary shares can bring a fresh perspective on how to prepare your child to fulfill his unique purpose in life. You can read about Mary’s philosophy and ideas at her website:www.archersforthelord.org
Join them on Friday evening (October 24th) from 7:00 – 9:00 pm for a workshop for teens and their parents. This will include a discussion of transcripts and how to maintain records. Older teenagers and/or middle schoolers who desire to take a larger hand in the planning process are strongly encouraged to attend with their parents.
Join them on Saturday (October 25th) from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for a Relaxed Homeschooler®s Workshop covering an introduction to a relaxed approach to homeschooling that will include record keeping, methods and materials, living books, relaxed unit studies, and specific information related to reading and math.
